The mission of the Transportation Division is to provide fair and impartial regulation of intrastate common and contract carriers offering services for hire. The Transportation Division is also responsible for the regulation of the financial responsibility and lawfulness of interstate motor carriers operating into or through Louisiana in interstate commerce.
